Sixty Niners Rugby Team

We are currently based in central Wellington playing reserve grade rugby. We don't train and leave it up to the individual to decided how fit they want to be come game day. The team consists of lads from a wide range of backgrounds, ages, shape and sizes playing in surprising positions challenging the existing physique to position ratio.

Like most rugby teams, we enjoy a few wet ones. We run 5 weekly court sessions during the playing season, a good opportunity to please the court,
We run an annual tour somewhere in the country, We also have several events across the year such as opening BBQ, Niners v.s. WAGs annual netball battle, fitness and technical skills training, black tie dinner, OBU club events and much more.

Rugbys all about people, the lads. Rugby and Social elements of who we are provides you the mental and physical benefits you require to fill your cup. Importantly we provide you the basis of creating life long friendships, networks and support.
